Our relationship with Apollo first started in early 2017. We were initially engaged in a website redesign project. Apollo came to us wanting to improve their existing website which they felt was underperforming and had fallen behind competitors. They asked us to undertake a user experience analysis and propose a redesign to improve customer journey and ultimately generate more revenue.
Following the analysis, a new look website designed by Fastrack and built by Apollo was launched. With improved customer journeys revenue began to grow. We immediately started a CRO program to optimise and further refine the website.
By now we had a much clearer understanding of the challenges this large global organisation was facing. The objectives remained the same - to increase revenue - but the approach needed to evolve. Quality of delivery and keeping to the highest standards Fastrack demands was proving a challenge.
By 2020 we become intertwined with the marketing teams to provide much needed education, best practice knowledge sharing and strategic guidance. The initial focus was around regaining lost SEO rankings and soon developed to SEM and project management. Fastrack continued to support during a very difficult time when external factors were forcing the company to take tough actions all whilst added financial scrutiny was bearing down.
Today we continue to provide project-by-project services as and when required depending on the budgets, circumstances and latest challenges that arise.
Each step of the project delivered real results in a timely manner. The approach allowed senior management to improve their decision-making process, in turn, allowing Fastrack to progress to the next marketing challenge. A significant overhaul of digital assets allowed Fastrack to quickly achieve the standardising of Apollo’s brands and websites, with the in-house team now adequately up-skilled to continue the design implementation.
By correcting all Google penalties previously incurred, Fastrack were able to successfully return the website to page 1 of Google (SES) for high volume within a few weeks. Through the delivery of high performing, locally targeted, SEM campaigns, Apollo achieved results well in excess of any other campaign ever run across any channel.
In an ever-changing digital climate, Apollo struggled to keep up-to-date with the evolving technologies. Apollo required a team of industry experts to instil a firm knowledge and best practices across all marketing channels. Apollo required the professional guidance of Fastrack to customise a new digital strategy across visual design, SEO, SEM, through to website consultancy and PR. The challenge for Fastrack lied in reversing the years of poor performance and setting a new set of standards for Apollo to work towards.
Fastrack guided Apollo through each issue one by one through a process of discovery, consultancy and project management. By pin-pointing areas of weakness, Fastrack were able to steer Apollo onto a profitable path after years of poor performance.
To address their lack of direction and delivery on particular marketing objectives, Fastrack implemented a strict project management standard to ensure quality of work. In turn, this ensured internal teams were implementing best practices and not ‘skipping’ vital steps in the process.
